On December 28th 2017, the Nufront EUHT-5G technology has been applied in Guangzhou metro Line 14 Knowledge City branch. It means that the EUHT-5G technology which was independently developed by China has overcome key technical challenges of 5G technology. Especially in the most difficult application scenarios of ultra-high reliability and low time delay (uRLLC), China is already at the leading level of the world.
EUHT means Enhanced Ultra High Throughput technology, which was independently researched and developed by Nufront. According to the introduction, this technology has been patented 52 for Chinese and international inventions and has been set as three Chinese national and industry technical standards. This technology has successfully solved the problem of large-capacity data transmission in the case of high-speed movement. It also has the technical advantages like extremely high reliability and extremely low data transmission delay, which has already reached the requirements of 5G technology.
Since 2008, Nufront began to apply the wireless communication technology into industrial technology. In 2012, they finished the research and development of chips. In 2014, they finished the research and development of networking. The industrialization started at the end of 2015. In addition, EUHT-5G technology of Nufront has been tested in Guangzhou metro Line 6 in 2016, and has been deployed in the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity High-Speed Rail in January 2017. At the end of 2017, because of the commercial application of Guangzhou metro, this achievement became the world's first 5G wireless communication industry application.
Guangzhou metro Line 14 Knowledge City branch opened on December 28th 2017.
Guangzhou metro Line 14 realized the real-time transmission of 30-channel HD video in single train for the first time in the world. This technology is at least 3-5 years ahead of the world.
24 HD cameras were installed in Line 14 metro, and 3HD cameras were installed in the driver’s cab. No matter in the peak time or off-peak time, the real-time monitoring video can be transmitted directly to the metro control center and police station. It will be safer for passengers to take Line 14.
The general engineer of Nufront, Di Shiping said, under the condition of high-speed movement, our self-developed high-speed wireless communication technology has solved the wireless communication transmission problem. This technology not only can send the HD monitoring video to the control center, but also can guide passengers through screens in emergency situations.
