On December 28th, Guangzhou metro Line 9, Line 13, south part of Line 4 and Line 14 Knowledge City branch were opened and began to operate. The journalist of THE PAPER noticed that 24 HD cameras were installed in Line 14 metro and 3HD cameras were installed in the driver’s cab, which realized the real-time monitoring in the metro.
According to the staff of the company that provides the real-time monitoring, all of cameras in the carriage are 4K HD cameras, which can cover the whole carriage. This is the first time that the metro realizes real-time monitoring in the world and effectively responds to emergency situations.
